Between coats of lacquer over the past five months I've been busy. My college art instructor was from Utah, he taught in Arkansas three years then returned to Utah.
Soon, he needed to get back to a paying job and returned to a seven year stint of teaching art on the college level, this time in Wyoming.
At age 42, and only into the fourth year of painting for a living, he was killed in a car crash. While I really liked the guy, it was a number of years before it was revealed to me he had died in 1981.
His specialty was watercolor, although early and late in his career he did some major oil paintings. Just thought a few of you might be interested in the site to remember my instructor. His nephew in California flew many a mile to collect much of what you see on the site.
